I have been browsing though magazines, Pinterest etc. ever
since I got engaged, trying to find a wedding dress that I absolutely adore,
and get an idea on what kind of dress I would love to wear on my big day.
However, this is not as easy as I first thought, and I still haven't found
something that completely jumps out at me. It's so easy to say you love this
dress or that dress before you're engaged, because it does not come down to the
matter that this will be the actual dress that you're going to wear on the big
day - your biggest day.
I'm not the most girliest of girls, and so the whole wedding
dress thing doesn't come as naturally to me. However, when browsing the other
day I noticed a gorgeous two-piece that actually stood out to me! So today I
thought I'd go through some of my favourite two-piece wedding dressings that I
absolutely love, and alternatives to that big white dress.
Perfect for that spring wedding, this Stephanie Allin
long-sleeved two piece is elegant and understated - and of course perfect for
keeping that spring chill off.
I absolutely adore this piece from The Dress Theory, a brand
that I came across on Instagram. A little boho in style, it is beautifully
understated, and perfect for that outdoor summer wedding.
Lastly, a couple of pieces from another brand that I recently discovered on Instagram: Needle & Thread. More suited for a summer wedding, this combination of skirt & top is perfect for that girl who is not into the big, floaty dress.
