Hello girlies, and welcome back to Sapphire Lashes! I've decided to add a couple of new features to my blog, including my 'Woman of the Month', so here goes with my first attempt!
So, my women of the moment are definitely Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - but haven't they always been? Growing up with them, I have always adored and admired these girls, and what they have accomplished, lauching their own fashion line 'The Row' in 2006. And now they have designed their close friend Molly Fishkin's wedding dress - what an achievement! The dress itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a soft scalloped-scooped neck, floor length lace veil, and a touch of the bohemian about it - it is even featured in Vogue's August issue! The twins themselves are looking equally as beautiful in their floor length attires, also with the boho touch about them. Who wouldn't want to be these girls, right? Or even just be lucky enough to have them design your wedding dress!

The watermelon print has been so on point this season. Personally I like to think it stems from Queen Bey's 'Watermelon' slogan tee, but it has been absolutely everywhere. From H&M's crop with the watermelon slice, to printed playsuits, it seems to have developed into a fruit frenzy! Sandy's Closet offers printed playsuits with both the classic watermelon print, but also has some cheeky little pineapple prints too! I was very kindly gifted this beautiful piece, that has a bold, colourful, and fruity print.
What I love about this playsuit is the super cute pom poms- they're so girly, and give the whole outfit that extra feminine touch! I kept the outfit simple by teaming it with my jellies, my fav Primarni sunglasses, and added some red lip tint, which goes perfectly with the colours!

Wearing//Watermelon

So, as a quick little post, I've chosen a couple of my favourite items from retailer Misspap to share with you guys! I've only recently discovered www.misspap.co.uk, but it does not fail to deliver! Misspap offers a variety of colours, patterns and textures for such reasonable prices, that I can not not share them with you - and they have a sale on at the moment, starting from only 99p!
I absolutely love these two pieces, simply because they're so girly and beautiful! The crochet pattern on this summer jacket is so gorgeous, and would be an asset to any daytime, or evening outfit! Despite my amazingly busy family weekend, I managed to steal some time to do a couple of shoots with the exciting items that I received from Missi Clothing UK! Despite my amazingly busy family weekend, I managed to steal some time to do a couple of shoots with the exciting items that I received from Missi Clothing UK! The first item that I chose was this '#OOTD' tee, which is so on point at the moment, and i'm so excited to finally own one! So I've decided to compile a small wishlist of some of my favourite things New In to Pretty Little Thing! I absolutely love this brand, with their array of pastels, prints, and textures! And to top it off, it is so reasonably priced!
Firstly, and most obviously, this gorgeous dress from the Paradox collection! Described as a collection of loud statement, empowering the female silhouette - this dress is perfect for showing off the female figure, combined with the cloudy pastel print it is simply a perfect dress!

Now this jacket, I absolutely adore! White is simply my favourite colour to wear at the moment, and combined with the embroidery, it is simply summery, elegant and beautiful. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

So for my second holiday edit, I basically took the opportunity to take a few pics around the beautiful town of Mellieha, Malta, one of my favourite places ever!
I absolutely love this dress, another holiday favourite of mine. Perfect for the evenings, it can be dressed up with a cute pair of shoes, once again my fav Zara clutch, and some bright pink lipstick (which i'm so obsessed with at the moment) - but its simplicity is also perfect for a summer's day!
This dress is another steal from Primarni, and although i've had it for a couple of years, they bring it back every year, as it is simply so perfect for the summer! I love it in lilac, but you can find it in all different colours, and I think it is only around £7!

So this weekend, I went to Wireless Festival in London! Obviously at the beginning of the week, and naturally what to wear was one of the most important decisions to make! Naturally wanting to stand out from the generic denim short and slogan tee look, I was desperate to find the perfect Co-ord. There are so many girls out there on Instagram who are producing gorgeous hand-made items, so after hours of decision making, I chose this beautiful co-ord by @megs_designs
Teamed with a matching scrunchie worn on the wrist, there wasn't much to add to this gorgeous outfit, as it stands out perfectly well by itself. But just because I was at a festival, I added a floral headpiece, which I brought from a festival a few years ago. I like this one as it is slightly understated, and did not compete for attention! Not only that, but I can't wait to team the top with some white jeans, or the shorts with a different top!
Meg produces her range of co-ords in vintage and unique fabrics - I loved walking around knowing that absolutely no one else would be wearing the same as me!

Unlike me, this was the only dress that I brought, and although I love it, it has torn everyone I know - apparently it looks like a superhero dress? Personally, I love this style of dress, the length, and the coverage means that it can be either dressed up or down! Seen as I was heading out to dinner, I decided to team it with my chunky New Look heels, Zara 'Stressed But Well Dressed Clutch', a bold, gold necklace, and lastly, my lilac fedora!
Pastels are just so classic, girly and pretty - so i love this combo of the lilac with the blue.
