Hello, and welcome back to Sapphire Lashes! Firstly I'd like to apologise about how tired i'm looking in these photos - I look like a ghost? So, as I seem to be mentioning ALL the time at the moment, probably because of the miserable weather, autumn is fast approaching and the weather is getting seriously cooler. Now, seen as it is still in fact August, i'm absolutely desperate to keep Spring-Summer wear alive. My answer to this dilemma is layering the top half, but keeping short on the bottom! These gorgeous shorts were gifted to me by the lovelies at Laundry Boutique, and I absolutely love them - especially the super cute crochet trim!
For me, I adore shirt-jumper combos in AW - normally I am a button up kinda girl, but i've kept this look much more relaxed, buttoned down and teamed with my pearl necklace that I also love! To keep up with the monochrome, I've teamed it with my Michael Kors tote (I cannot believe that i've never featured it before?!) which I got for my 20th birthday last year, and my favourite accessory to every outfit - a hat of course!

These shoes were gifted to me by Shoe Zone, and for the Summer to Autumn transition, i'm definitely going to invest in a pair of cute, frilly socks so that I can continue wearing them into next season.
